The New England Patriots have confirmed that running back Stevan Ridley is out of their clash with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The 24-year-old bruised his thigh in his side's win over the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday, following a collision while running the ball.
As a result, he missed all three days of practice this week for Bill Belichick's side and the team made the move to confirm that he would indeed miss their clash with the Bengals.
The Patriots are 4-0 in their season going into week five.
