New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski has been removed from the physically unable to perform list to their active roster.
The 24-year-old has missed of all the Patriots' pre-season games and off-season activities as he recovered from surgeries on his back and forearm.
However, he has made good strides with his recovery in the past few weeks at the Pats' training camp and the team have deemed him fit enough to return him to their roster.
The Patriots announced further cuts to their team in addition to ones made earlier today, as Chris McDonald, Jeff Tarpinian and Stephon Morris were also released, while veteran safety Adrian Wilson was moved to injured reserve.
