New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork has hit back at his side's critics from earlier in the season following their win over the Detroit Lions.
The Patriots picked up their seventh win in a row in the NFL to move to 9-2 in their season, but Wilfork has admitted that he is not interested in gaining any bandwagon followers that questioned Bill Belichick's men after their 41-14 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs earlier in the season.
"Now you look back 11 weeks later, and we're one of the best teams in the league," Wilfork told reporters.
"So the same people that were saying we were the most terrible team in the league now are patting us on the back. We don't have room for them.
"We don't have room for bandwagoners, guys that just off the bandwagon when things get tough."
New England currently hold the number one seed in the AFC conference.
