The New England Patriots have thrashed the Baltimore Ravens 41-7 in their NFL encounter.
Legarrette Blount opened the scoring for the Patriots with a one-yard run for the touchdown, allowing Stephen Gostkowski to kick New England seven ahead.
Shane Vereen latched onto a four-yard pass from Tom Brady to help push the score towards 14-0.
Gostkowski then returned with a 45-yard field goal in the second to leave the Patriots 17-0 in front going into half time.
New England further extended their lead in the third quarter thanks to a 42-yard field goal from Gostkowski as they went into the final quarter 20-0 ahead.
Joe Flacco provided the only form of resistance for the Ravens when he notched a one-yard run for the touchdown.
However, the Patriots continued to humiliate their opponents as Blount completed another run, this one from seven yards, before Chandler Jones and Tavon Wilson scored separate returns to leave the final score at 41-7.
