New Orleans Saints running back CJ Spiller will miss the rest of his side's pre-season campaign with a knee injury, according to a report.
The 27-year-old signed for the Saints in the off-season on a four-year deal after opting to leave the Buffalo Bills at the end of the 2014 campaign.
However, Spiller will now miss valuable practice time with his teammates after he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, although he will return in time for the start of the season, reports ESPN.
Spiller rushed for 3,321 yards and 12 touchdowns in his five seasons with the Bills.
