New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram feels that his side have signed a "special player" in CJ Spiller.
The Saints moved for the 27-year-old after he was allowed to leave the Buffalo Bills at the end of the 2014 season, and signed him to a four-year deal to form a tandem with Ingram to support quarterback Drew Brees.
"He's a special player," Ingram told ESPN. "He's a game-breaker, can take it to the house no matter where he is on the field, punt return, kick return, pass, run. So I'm looking forward to it.
"It wasn't anything strange or anything when we signed him. I talked to him before it even got announced."
Spiller had 425 total yards from scrimmage and a touchdown in nine games for the Bills last season.
