New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton believes that his side cannot afford to dwell on their loss to the Seattle Seahawks ahead of their clash with the Carolina Panthers.
The Saints were crushed at CenturyLink Field as they fell to a 34-7 defeat and now go into a crucial divisional matchup with the Panthers for control of the playoff spot from the NFC South.
Payton told reporters: "One of the things that we discussed was just the quick turnaround. It's a setback and now you're on a short week but we have to make the corrections.
"We can't just say it didn't happen. But that being said, we have to quickly get focused on Carolina. They're playing as good football as anybody in the league right now. So we'll do that."
The Saints are 9-3 in their season going into week 14.
