The New Orleans Saints placed the tight end under their franchise tag for the 2014 season earlier this year, but he was unhappy with the move, believing that he should be paid as a wide receiver.
NBC Sports reports that an announcement is expected next week after arguments from both sides were heard by an arbitrator earlier this month.
Graham was the team's leader in receiving yards in 2013 with 1,215, and was one of just two tight ends in the top 30 receivers in the league last year.
