New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has played a full part in the first day of team practice.
The 33-year-old underwent surgery on a troublesome ankle in April, and despite the Giants stating that they would not rush him back, Manning was in action at the earliest opportunity.
According to the Giants' official website: "Manning's ironman gene put him on the fast track, and he took quite a few snaps on the first day of OTAs.
"In addition to individual drills, he took many of the first-team reps as he and his teammates continued to learn Ben McAdoo's new offense."
Backup quarterbacks Ryan Nassib, Curtis Painter and Josh Freeman also played a part in the workout.
