Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is adamant that Michael Vick is a better player than Geno Smith and should be the starting quarterback for the New York Jets.
Vick was released by the Eagles earlier in the off-season and was signed by Rex Ryan's side. He will now compete with Smith for the starter's job for the AFC East team.
However, McCoy has insisted that there is no doubt that his former teammate should be the signal caller for the Jets in the 2014 season.
"He's going to be the Jets' starting quarterback," McCoy told the New York Post. "He's way better than Geno Smith. Way better. That's no contest."
The Jets finished with an 8-8 record in the 2013 season.
