Rex Ryan has said that the New York Jets want balance between their passing and running games.
In their opening two games of the season, the AFC East side have completed 403 passing yards, and rushed for 219.
Speaking at a press conference, the head coach told reporters: "I think with us, I talked about being an attacking team, whether we're attacking on offense, defense, special teams. We want to play with that kind of mentality.
"Do I expect us to run more than pass? Not really. I'd like to be close to balanced. I think that's where we've been the first couple of games. So I think that's pretty good.
"The old football mentality about would I prefer to run the ball than throw it? Yeah, of course. But that being said, the way the game is played now, I also like to attack down the field and I think we can do both now."
The Jets face divisional rivals the Buffalo Bills this weekend.
