New York Jets coach Rex Ryan has revealed that he will stick with struggling rookie quarterback Geno Smith for the rest of the season.
Geno has found it hard going in the league, with the young quarterback looking helpless in the past four weeks.
He is now the only man in NFL stat history to have recorded four sub-5.0s in one season.
"I believe in Geno," said Ryan, according to Newsday. "I think he has the tools to be a good quarterback in this league."
The Jets currently occupy third position in the AFC Eastern Division with a record of 5-7.
