The NFL have announced that Aeneas Williams, Michael Strahan, Derrick Brooks, Walter Jones, Andre Reed, Ray Guy and Claude Humphrey have been voted into the Hall of Fame for 2014.
The seven players were selected from a list of 17 finalists who were nominated last year for their outstanding performances throughout their NFL careers.
Leading the class is defensive end Strahan, who notched 141.5 quarterback sacks in his 15-year career along with one Super Bowl ring.
He was a first-ballot players along with former Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Walter Jones and former Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Derrick Brooks.
Guy is the first punter to enter the Hall of Fame after a 14-year career in the NFL from 1973 to 1986, while fellow veteran Humphrey also joins the class after picking up five All-Pro awards in his 13 years in the league.
Former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Reed and former Arizona Cardinals cornerback Williams complete the class, edging out Kevin Greene, Charles Haley, Jerome Bettis, Will Shields and Marvin Harrison in the process.
