Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen has revealed that quarterback Matt McGloin has put himself into contention to win the starter's role at the club.
McGloin replaced the injured Terrelle Pryor against the Houston Texans throwing three touchdown passes to guide his side to victory at Reliant Stadium.
"I will say that, obviously, with Matt's performance he's certainly earned the right to be in the discussion, that's for sure," Allen told reporters.
The Raiders are 4-6 in their season going into week 12.
