Nnamdi Asomugha has decided to sign a one-day contract with the Oakland Raiders to announce his retirement from playing in the NFL.
The cornerback, who spent his first eight seasons in the league with the AFC West side, will confirm his decision at a press conference later today.
The 32-year-old, who had a spell with the San Francisco 49ers earlier this year, earned three Pro Bowl selections while with Oakland.
Asomugha finishes his career with 356 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and 15 interceptions.
