Three touchdown passes from Derek Carr have helped the Oakland Raiders to a 27-20 victory over the Cleveland Browns.
Sebastian Janikowski had given the visitors a first-quarter lead from a field goal before Carr landed a three-yard pass to Andre Holmes in the endzone.
Travis Coons's 24-yard kick briefly reduced the arrears for the Browns, but Carr threw another touchdown pass to Seth Roberts as Oakland reached the interval 17-3 ahead.
Janikowski added another field goal, but Gary Barnidge caught a 28-yard pass from Josh McCown, in for Johnny Manziel, as Cleveland tried to launch a fight back.
Former Central Florida running back Latavius Murray restored the Raiders' 14-point lead early in the fourth quarter, rushing over from six yards before Coons was successful with another kick for the Browns.
Travis Benjamin scored Cleveland's second touchdown in the dying minutes, but Oakland managed to hold on and move to 2-1 in the AFC West, behind the unbeaten Denver Broncos.
