Brandon Boykin has said that communication has been key for the Philadelphia Eagles' cornerbacks during practice.
Boykin has made five tackles during the team's three pre-season games.
The 23-year-old, who is heading into his second season in the league, told the team's website: "I feel good. I think the one thing that's helped us the most is the music that [head coach Chip Kelly] has put in the practices. It has allowed us to communicate louder than we normally would on a regular basis.
"So once we get on the field, it's just clicking. Normally, that takes a lot of time to come. It probably takes a couple games in the regular season, but we have that now.
"A lot of big plays happened [last year] because of miscommunication or people not really knowing what the other guy is going to do. That's the first thing, is making that communication and gaining that trust from each other and I think we're building that now."
The Eagles play the New York Jets tonight.
