The Philadelphia Eagles have come from behind to beat the Detroit Lions by 14 points in blizzard conditions in their NFL clash.
Both sides struggled to move the ball as the snow pounded down at Lincoln Finanicial Field and turnovers were aplenty in the terrible conditions.
Lions running back Joique Bell fumbled the ball in the second quarter but the Eagles were not able to capitalise on the error as Riley Cooper was guilty of dropping the ball.
Then on their next series Eagles quarterback Nick Foles threw his first interception of the season as Chris Houston picked him off.
The Lions took advantage by getting the only score of the half whenJoique Bell powered into the endzone from two yards and then Matt Stafford found him for the two-point conversion.
After the break the Lions extended their lead as Jeremy Ross returned a punt 58 yards for a touchdown, but the two-point conversion on this occasion failed.
However, the Eagles responded with a solid drive as they moved downfield in treacherous condition and Foles found DeSean Jackson with a looped throw to the back of the endzone for a 19-yard score, but their two-pointer failed.
Philadelphia drew level thanks to an excellent run from LeSean McCoy. He juked in and out of defenders before reaching the endzone for the 40-yard score, while a two-yard run from Bryce Brown added the two points.
The Lions responded immediately from the kickoff as Ross collected back at his own two-yard line and ran the length of the field beating several tackles for a 98-yard score.
Seconds later the Eagles regained their lead as McCoy ran through the Lions defense once again to go into the endzone with a 57-yard run, and Foles found Cooper for the two-point conversion.
McCoy and Foles drove the Eagles into the redzone again and on third and goal at the one-yard line the quarterback kept the ball himself and went in behind the line for the score, but this time the conversion failed.
The Eagles secured the win late in the fourth quarter when Chris Polk was the latest back to find space in the open field and he ran in for a 38-yard score to hand his side a 14-point lead and the victory.
