Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker LaMarr Woodley has defended his side's defensive coordinator Dick Lebeau following their defeat to the New England Patriots.
The Steelers conceded a franchise-high 55 points in their loss to Bill Belichick's side, which has led to criticism of the defense but Woodley believes that people are just looking for someone to point the finger at.
"Somebody has to take the blame," Woodley told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
"That's just the way it is when you're having a bad season. Last season I was the one to take the blame. It comes with the territory. Now people want to blame the defensive coordinator."
Mike Tomlin's men are 2-6 in their season going into week 10.
