The Baltimore Ravens have headed into half time with a 16-10 lead over the San Diego Chargers in the NFL this evening.
Torrey Smith got the home side off to a strong start when he held on to a juggled pass from Joe Flacco for the opening touchdown early in the first quarter.
The Chargers were unable to respond on their first drive as Daryl Smith picked off a Philip Rivers pass, bringing the Baltimore offense back out.
Rivers put the mistake behind him before the end of the quarter, allowing him to pick out Keenan Allen, although a Justin Tucker field goal kept the Ravens in front.
Tucker added a further three points to increase the Ravens' advantage, but Nick Novak was also able to split the upright late in the second quarter, leaving the visitors six points adrift at the break.
