San Diego Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has revealed that he is avoiding reading comments about his good performances to start the season to stay humble.
Allen has hit the ground running in his rookie campaign and has built a solid rapport with quarterback Philip Rivers, catching 26 passes for 399 yards while notching two touchdown scores.
He told the San Diego Union Tribune: "Not reading articles. Not getting into the media with what they're talking about.
"Just staying out of that. Just try to get better. Keep staying humbled. Keep staying grounded."
The Chargers face the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
