San Diego Chargers guard Jeromey Clary has revealed that the work of the offensive line was key to his side's 19-9 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
Clary said that the win was particularly pleasing given the hard work that was put in on the training field before the game.
"It felt great to get the win last week," he told the club's official website. "The offensive line did well because we worked really hard on our fundamentals and technique.
"Coach Joe D'Alessandris and coach Andrew Dees were really harping on us to get our hands inside and run our feet. We did some new things and some old things and we got in the chutes. We hadn't done that for a while, so we worked our hands and feet and it worked out."
Clary has started five of the Chargers' six games this season.
