Michael Crabtree has said that Anquan Boldin "should be great" for the San Francisco 49ers.
The wide receiver was traded to the 49ers by the Baltimore Ravens earlier this month after reportedly refusing to take a pay-cut to stay with the Super Bowl champions.
Crabtree, who was the 49ers' leading receiver in 2012, told NFL Total Access: "One legendary guy leaves, another one comes in. We need him.
"The guy can make some plays. We're short on receivers with [Ted] Ginn and Randy Moss leaving. The addition of Anquan should be great."
Crabtree scored nine touchdowns for 1,105 yards during the 2012 season, while Boldin recorded 921 yards and four touchdowns for the Ravens.
