Vernon Davis has said that he expects the San Francisco 49ers' game against the Seattle Seahawks to be the "most intense" of the 2013 NFL season.
The Seahawks are in control of the NFL West with an 11-1 record, and have beaten the 49ers, who have won the division for the last two years, in their last two meetings.
The 49ers tight end told reporters: "It might be the most intense game we've played this season. Those guys, they don't like us and we don't like them. It's just one of those games. We look forward to the challenge and I look forward to Sunday.
"It's going to be one of those games. Those guys like to talk, [cornerback] Richard Sherman and those guys, but we can't really get caught up into all that. We have to play our game. We can't waste our energy.
"It's going to be a tough game because those guys are good, those guys are physical. We have to come out hard. They can't put two guys on me and not expect [Michael] Crabtree and [Anquan] Boldin not to get open, because they will get open. They're going to have their hands full, for sure."
The 49ers' only divisional loss so far this season came against the Seahawks in the second week of the season.
