Relive our coverage of the Seattle Seahawks' trip to Candlestick Park to face NFC West rivals the San Francisco 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers prevented the Seattle Seahawks from clinching the NFC West with a 19-17 win over their divisional rivals.

Marshawn Lynch and Luke Willson scored second-quarter touchdowns for the visitors, before Vernon Davis put the 49ers ahead just before half time.

Steven Hauschka kicked Seattle back in front inside the final quarter, but Phil Dawson added his fourth field goal of the day with less than 30 seconds left to play to secure the victory, ending the Seahawks' seven-game winning streak.

Read how all the action unfolded below:

Good evening! It's around half an hour until kickoff at Candlestick Park, where the Seattle Seahawks will be looking to clinch the NFC West title with a win over division rivals the San Francisco 49ers. Lets take a look at the inactives from both sides.
49ERS INACTIVES! Patton, Brown, Dial, Iupati, Baldwin, Celek, Carradine
SEAHAWKS INACTIVES! Harvin, Michael, Browner, Bowie, Hauptmann, Mayowa, Hill
There are no huge surprises for the 49ers. It had been hoped that Quintin Patton would be available this week after returning to practice, but it looks like he'll have to wait another game. Offensive tackle Joe Staley is active and starts this evening, despite picking up a knee injury during the 49ers' win over the St Louis Rams last week.
The most notable absentee for the Seahawks is wide receiver Percy Harvin. Harvin has played in just one game for the Seahawks this season after injuring his hip in training camp. The former Viking made his debut just before their bye week in week 11, but this will be his second game out after experiencing pain in his hip. There have been some reports that he could be out until the playoffs, which could be a worry for Seattle.
The Seahawks have not won at Candlestick Park since 2008, but have beaten the 49ers in their last two meetings, which were in Seattle. This will actually be the last time that the Seahawks play at the stadium, as San Francisco move to their new home in Santa Clara next season.
Ahead of the start of today's early games, the Seahawks were the only team to already be guaranteed a place in the playoffs, as they lead in NFL with an 11-1 record. Despite being three wins behind their rivals, the 49ers are also looking good for a post-season berth, as they currently occupy the second of the NFC wildcard spots.
Looking at the offensive statistics for both of these teams, it's easy to see why the Seahawks have the superior record so far this season. Seattle have averaged 364.3 yards per game, over 50 more than the 49ers. Russell Wilson has 6,672 passing yards for the Seahawks and 22 touchdowns, while Colin Kaepernick has 2,312 but just 15 touchdowns.
Another big advantage for the Seahawks is their superb defense, the fantastically nicknamed "Legion of Boom". Earl Thomas leads the team with 84 tackles, while he and cornerback Richard Sherman each have four interceptions. Cliff Avril leads the team in sacks with 7.5. Kaepernick has proved vulnerable to sacks in recent weeks, so he'll need to be on his guard tonight.
In the reverse fixture earlier in the season, the 49ers offense struggled, managing just a field goal in the 29-3 defeat. However, Kaepernick has regained some of his top offensive weapons in recent weeks with Michael Crabtree and Mario Manningham both returning from injury. Tight end Vernon Davis will also be hoping to have more of an impact this time around, having missed most of the week two clash after sustaining a concussion.
PREDICTION! This is such a difficult one to call! The Seahawks have thrashed the 49ers in their last two meetings, but San Fran have home advantage this time around. However, I think the added incentive of taking away the 49ers' NFC West crown on their home turf will carry Seattle to victory today. I'm going for a Seahawks win by five points.

Seattle will receive the ball in the first half, so 49ers kicker Phil Dawson will get the game underway in the next few moments.
KICKOFF! Dawson kicks the ball back to Turbin who takes a touchback, so the Seahawks will start from their own 20-yard line.
It's a solid start for Russell Wilson and the Seahawks offense as the quarterback connects with Carlos Rogers for a 16-yard gain before Marshawn Lynch has a couple of short carries. Already there's been a bit of pushing and shoving between the two teams!
FUMBLE! The Seahawks need two yards for the first down so Wilson, who is second in rushing with the team, looks to take it himself, but Navarro Bowman makes a heavy tackle, which causes the quarterback to lose the ball, ending their drive. Ryan comes on for the punt.
The 49ers first offensive drive of the game quickly comes to nothing. Frank Gore tries to run the ball but can't get past the line of scrimmage so Kaepernick tries passes to Crabtree and Manningham, but neither of them manage to hold on to the ball, so it's a swift three and out bringing Andy Lee on for his first punt of the day.
Lynch has another couple of short runs for the Seahawks before Wilson throws an incompletion to Baldwin to make it another drive with no score for the visitors. As expected, it's looking like it's going to be a scrappy affair between the NFC West rivals.
Kaepernick gets his first completion of the evening, connecting with Bruce Miller before Kendall Hunter rushes for seven yards for a first down. Boldin hauls in a nine-yard pass before Gore runs for seven. It looks like Kaepernick is trying to mix it up between the running and passing games to keep the Seahawks defense on their toes.
Michael Crabtree, playing just his second game since tearing his Achilles in pre-season, leaps up high to take an athletic catch near the sideline for a 17-yard gain. He has to take a play out, having knocked the wind out of himself with a heavy landing, but it quickly back in the game. On second down, Kaepernick tries to run the ball himself and has a clear run to the end zone, but Bobby Wagner makes a superb run from behind to drag the quarterback down short. The third down effort comes up short, so Dawson will attempt a field goal.
FIELD GOAL! Seahawks 0-3 49ers (Dawson)
It's an easy kick for Phil Dawson, who chips the ball over from 23 yards to give the 49ers the first points of the game.
SACK! Lynch picks up a couple of short gains before Golden Tate is penalised for pass interference leaving the Seahawks needing 15 yards. Wilson appears to call for a timeout but Unger doesn't spot the signal and snaps the ball back to the quarterback, who isn't prepared and it quickly brought down by Ray McDonald.
BLOCKED PUNT! Ryan comes on to punt following Wilson's sack, but Kassim Osgood manages to block the ball at the Seattle 31-yard line. It's a superb effort by the special teamer, and it gives the home side the ball in excellent field position.
The 49ers can't convert Osgood's play into a touchdown. Gore picks up four yards, but Kaepernick can't get the ball to Manningham or Crabtree, so Dawson will have another go at the posts.
FIELD GOAL! Seahawks 0-6 49ers (Dawson)
It's more of a test for Dawson this time around, as he lines up the 48-yard field goal try, but the consistent kicker makes it look easy as he doubles his side's lead.
END OF FIRST QUARTER! Seattle Seahawks 0-6 San Francisco 49ers
Wilson passes to Willson with the first play of the second quarter to secure the first third-down conversion of the night. Lynch continues to pick up a series of short gains, helping move the visitors into San Francisco territory.
TOUCHDOWN! Seahawks 7-6 49ers (Lynch)
Lynch continues to pick up a heavy workload, carrying the ball to the San Francisco 11 before taking it into the end zone on the next play for the first touchdown of the game. Steven Hauschka adds the extra point to put Seattle ahead for the first time today.
It's surprising that Lynch manage to find such a big gap in the 49ers' defensive line. The running back had two rushing touchdowns and a receiving score in their first game of the season, so you would have thought that the home side would have prioritised shutting down the dangerous running back.
Kaepernick tries to get Frank Gore more involved in the game, handing the ball off to the running back on the first two plays of the drive, before a short dash from Miller brings up the first down, but the 49ers are still inside their own territory. It will have to be a long drive if they are to get a touchdown of their own.
The 49ers get a helping hand over midfield as Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is penalised for defensive holding, giving the home side a first down on their own 43 before Kaepernick picks out Anquan Boldin with a deep pass out left for a 20-yard gain.
Kaepernick spots Crabtree tearing towards the end zone, but he tangles with Maxwell and fails to make the catch. The wide receiver immediately looks to the officials, expecting the Seahawks to be flagged for pass interference, but he doesn't get the call. Manningham can't make the catch on third down, so it will be another field goal attempt for Dawson.
FIELD GOAL! Seahawks 7-9 49ers (Dawson)
The kicks are getting longer for Dawson, but it doesn't matter as he drills his 52-yard effort comfortably inside the posts. The kicker's accuracy is a huge asset for the 49ers, but they'll be disappointed not to have found the end zone yet.
INJURY UPDATE! KJ Wright has headed into the Seahawks' locker room with a foot injury, and the team have listed his return as questionable. The linebacker looked angry after speaking with medical staff on the sidelines before heading off the field.
Wilson passes to Doug Baldwin for 14 yards before an eight-yard run by Lynch moves the Seahawks into 49ers territory. After a scrappy first quarter, the Seattle offense looks like it's really starting to find its rhythm.
TOUCHDOWN! Seahawks 14-9 49ers (Willson)
After a series of short plays, the Seahawks catch the 49ers out with a deep effort from Russell Wilson to rookie tight end Luke Willson, who makes the catch 20 yards out before sprinting for the end zone. Once again, Hauschka adds the extra point.
Kaepernick tries to take the ball himself on the opening play of the drive, but manages just two yards. He looks for Crabtree on second down, but the wide receiver is held back by Maxwell, drawing a penalty against the Seahawks to give the home side a first down.
TWO MINUTE WARNING! Kaepernick tosses ball through the middle to Anquan Boldin for a first down, leaving the hosts just short of midfield before taking the two-minute warning timeout.
Boldin makes another superb catch, getting one hand to the ball before pulling it in despite being impeded by Sherman. The cornerback was flagged for holding, but the officials decided to let the catch stand instead.
Tight end Vernon Davis has his first reception of the day, picking up 13 yards near the sideline. Crabtree looks to make a run towards the end zone, but the play is stopped before he can make the catch as Boldin is flagged for pass interference, having tried to block Maxwell to make room for his teammate's run.
TOUCHDOWN! Seahawks 14-16 49ers (Davis)
The Seahawks place double coverage on Crabtree and Boldin, allowing Davis to get clear in the end zone. The offensive line protects Kaepernick well, giving him time to spot the tight end and make the eight-yard pass before Dawson kicks the extra point.
END OF SECOND QUARTER: Seattle Seahawks 14-16 San Francisco 49ers
Phil Dawson just has time to take the kickoff before time expires and the players head in for half time. Both teams had their moments in the first half, but it's the 49ers who go into the break with the lead thanks to Vernon Davis' late effort.
The 49ers kicker has had a strong opening half, kicking three field goals, including a 52-yard effort. Meanwhile, Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree have proved quite a threat, and when the Seahawks managed to get the receiving duo under control, it simply left room for Davis.
There's little to separate the two quarterbacks at half time. Russell Wilson has eight completions from 11 attempts for 144 yards and the touchdown pass to Luke Willson. Kaepernick has nine from 19 for 122 yards and a touchdown pass. Wilson has been sacked twice, once resulting in a fumble, while Kaepernick offensive line have protected him well, preventing the Seahawks from getting to him.
Once again, Marshawn Lynch has proved a thorn in the side of the 49ers, scoring against the side for the fourth time this season. At half time, the running back has 13 carries for 50 yards.
The players are back on the field ready for the second half, with the 49ers receiving.
KICKOFF! Hauschka gets the third quarter underway.
After Gore picks up a gain of eight, Crabtree gets the yardage for a first down, but looks to run after the catch before getting brought down by Lane. The ball comes loose once the wide receiver is on the ground, and the Seahawks believe that he has fumbled, but the officials rule that he was already down.
SACK! Kaepernick needs to find two yards for a first down, but takes too long looking for an option and is brought down by Malcolm Smith for a loss of seven, ending the drive. It's the first time since the 49ers' opening drive of the game that a possession hasn't resulted in points for the home side.
Wilson finds Baldwin to convert a third-down before Lynch carries the ball over midfield. However, a pass for Golden Tate is broken up from Brock to force the Seahawks to punt. Both sides took a little time to get going in the first half, and it looks like they're taking their time again now.
Anquan Boldin gets the first down at the San Francisco 43 before Frank Gore bursts through the Seahawks defense to pick up a further 15.
INTERCEPTION! After Boldin moves the 49ers to the edge of the end zone, Kaepernick throws it deep for Crabtree looking for the 49ers' second touchdown of the game, but it's picked off by Byron Maxwell. Maxwell tries to run it back for the visitors but Bruce Miller managed to bring him down at the three-yard line.
Lynch is continuing to put in a heavy workload for the Seahawks as the visitors move towards midfield. The running back manages to slip past Eric Reid to gain 20 yards before being brought down by the rookie safety, but the Seahawks are moved back 15 yards for a personal foul by Robinson.
Wilson tosses on incompletion to Turbin before gaining two yards on a scramble, leaving him with 23 yards to find on third down. Eric Wright makes a heavy tackle on Rice to make sure the Seahawks don't get the yardage, but he's injured in the process. It looks like a nasty one, as he's not even tried to get up by the time the medics get to him.
After Wright is helped from the field, Ryan comes back out for the Seahawks' punt. LaMichael James calls for a fair catch, but he's hit by Schofield, moving the 49ers 15 yards further down field.
The 49ers offense comes back onto the field, but it's two plays for no gain from Frank Gore, and that should be it for the third quarter.
END OF THIRD QUARTER: Seattle Seahawks 14-16 San Francisco 49ers
SACK! On third down, Chris Clemens manages to slip past Joe Staley to bring Kaepernick down for a loss of 11 yards, so Lee will punt the ball back to Seattle.
INJURY UPDATE! The 49ers confirm that Eric Wright has a head injury and is questionable to return.
On third down, Wilson looks as though he's starting to make a run, but then passes to Golden Tate, who appears to have space to run after the catch, but the officials call him back as the ball had hit the ground before he had it, so the Seahawks will punt again.
With the game being so close, the next scoring play could be the game winner, and with so much riding on this game for both teams, the nerves seem to be affecting both sides, particularly with the penalties starting to stacking up.
SACK! Kaepernick scrambles for an eight-yard gain before Hunter makes it for the first down. On second down, the quarterback spots an open Miller, but the fullback is stopped by Irvin. Boldin thinks he has the reception needed for a fresh set of downs, but it's called back for an illegal use of hands call against Alex Boone, and McDonald gets the sack on Kaepernick when the play is repeated, forcing the 49ers to punt.
A good punt return by Golden Tate ensures that the Seahawks start their drive from the San Francisco 27. Jermaine Kearse gets a first down to take Seattle into the end zone. This is looking like a promising drive by the away side.
A couple of short gains from Lynch leave the Seahawks short on third down. Wilson looks for Kearse in the end zone, but can't get the ball to the receiver, so Hauschka will have his first field goal attempt of the day.
FIELD GOAL! Seahawks 17-16 49ers (Hauschka)
The Seahawks' kicker doesn't get the cleanest contact with the ball, as the 49ers put pressure on the holder, but Hauschka just manages to get his 31-yard effort inside the left upright to put the Seahawks back ahead.
Kaepernick picks up three yards before completing a pass to Crabtree on second down before Bruce Miller smashes his way past the line of scrimmage for a first down. On the next play, Frank Gore slips through a gap before sprint 51 yards down field before being forced out of bounds inside the red zone by Sherman. It's a smart run by the running back. He knew he couldn't out-pace Sherman over that distance for a touchdown, so made sure he was out of bounds within field goal range.
TWO MINUTE WARNING! On third down, Kaepernick darts out wide to pick up the seven yards needed for a first down. With Seattle out of timeouts, the 49ers are keen to run down the clock so that their opponents won't have time to respond, so Gore takes a carry for a loss of one before they let to clock run down to the two-minute warning timeout.
This fixture has been one of the most hotly anticipated of the season and it has not disappointed. With just two minutes left, the 49ers trail by a single point, but are well within Phil Dawson's range
Gore comes up short of the end zone on third down so Dawson will come back on for the all important field goal. The kicker has looked unshakable while taking his three efforts in the first half, but there's so much more riding on this attempt. The 49ers use their final timeout before the kick.
FIELD GOAL! Seahawks 17-19 49ers (Dawson)
The experienced kicker makes no mistake from just 22 yards out, making it four field goals from four attempts today. The Seahawks will have time for a couple of plays before time runs out, but they will have to be flawless.
Tate collects the kick off, but Ventrone makes a big tackle to make sure he's pinned back at the Seattle 16. It's all on Russell Wilson now.
INTERCEPTION! Wilson goes all or nothing, looking down field for Kearse, but the wide receiver loses his footing, allowing Eric Wright to intercept the pass and clinch the win for the 49ers. Kaepernick will come back on to take a knee and end the game.
END OF FOURTH QUARTER: Seattle Seahawks 17-19 San Francisco 49ers
The NFC West race is alive! The Seahawks will have to try again next week to seal the division title as the 49ers end their rivals' seven-game winning streak. Colin Kaepernick showed great clock-management skills on the game-winning drive to make sure his side took the lead while leaving Seattle little game time. It was a mature performance by the quarterback.
Russell Wilson should be commended too for giving it a shot with the deep pass in the final seconds of the game. There was always a good chance it was going to be picked off, but if Kearse hadn't stumbled it would have been close to a touchdown.
Well that's all from Candlestick Park today, but stick around for reports from all of this weekend's NFL games, and live coverage from the all-NFC South battle between the Carolina Panthers and the New Orleans Saints. With both in playoff contention, that should be another thriller! Thanks for joining me for this game, goodbye.
