San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis has said that NFC West rivals Seattle Seahawks are "building a dynasty".
The Seahawks reached the playoffs last year, finishing just behind the 49ers in their division, but have been adding to their roster during the off-season.
Davis told NFL.com: "They're building a dynasty over there.
"These guys are coming to take us out. I respect them, but we want to win, too. We have to play each game like it's our last game.
"I'll do whatever the coaches ask me to do. If statistics come, it's cool. But, my true identity is within the team. I never doubt myself. That's how I live."
David has been practising as a wide receiver this off-season following the Michael Crabtree's Achilles injury.
