San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis has said that he suspects that the Pittsburgh Steelers will cover him in a different way to how they dealt with Rob Gronkowski.
The New England Patriots man recorded three touchdowns against the Steelers in his side's 28-21 victory over Mike Tomlin's men last week.
Davis has admitted that, although he would like to see the same coverage, he is positive that the AFC North side will learn from their mistakes made at Gillette Stadium.
He told reporters: "It would be awesome to get that. They could play me totally different.
"Any time there's a situation where a team lets something like that happen, they tend to address it. I can't put those guys down. They look good on film."
The 49ers face the Steelers in their clash on Sunday.
