San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh has downplayed the controversy over Michael Crabtree's issues with his current role in the team.
Crabtree has been played on fewer than 70% of the team's offensive snaps over the past two weeks and he has not had more than five receptions in a game since week three.
The 27-year-old discussed his frustration publicly with the media on Tuesday, but Harbaugh is keen to stress that there is no rift between the pair.
"I don't think so. Seems to be doing a fantastic job and getting the ball a lot," he said, according to the Sacramento Bee.
The 49ers are currently 5-4 for the season but they sit in third place in the NFC West ahead of their game against the New York Giants on Sunday.
