First-half touchdowns from Martavis Bryant and DeAngelo Williams give the Pittsburgh Steelers an 18-14 lead over the Seattle Seahawks.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have opened up an 18-14 lead at half time in a closely-fought game against the Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in the NFL.

After the opening two possessions of the game ended in punts, the visitors got the first points on the board when Chris Boswell fired a 44-yard field goal through the posts.

Thomas Rawls came up short trying to force his way into the endzone for the Seahawks, forcing another punt from the home side, but they soon got the ball back when Steelers backup quarterback Landry Jones threw an interception as Pittsburgh tried to fake a field goal. However, Jeremy Lane could not return it all the way for six as he lost his footing.

The Seahawks had the opening touchdown a couple of plays later though as Russell Wilson spotted an unmarked Doug Baldwin, firing a 16-yard pass to the back of the endzone for the wide receiver.

The Steelers quickly regained the lead as Heath Miller and DeAngelo Williams both picked up yards, before Ben Roethlisberger handed the ball off to Martavis Bryant, who sprinted across from 11 yards out.

As half time approached, Seattle started to make their way back towards the Pittsburgh endzone, with Jimmy Graham making a couple of receptions before Jermaine Kearse took the ball across the line.

There was enough time for the visitors to get their second touchdown on the board before the break though, with Williams running the ball across, before Roethlisberger picked out Jesse James for a two-point conversion.
