Seattle Seahawks star Michael Bennett has revealed that the team misses Kam Chancellor after they lost their season opener last weekend.
The Seahawks face the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field on Sunday night, and Bennett hopes to see his teammate return to the starting lineup.
"We miss Kam Chancellor, not just the way that he plays, but the way that he approaches the game, his leadership," he told ESPN.
"Even though Kam Chancellor was not in the game, we had multiple chances of winning that game. I wonder, would the conversation be the same if we won the game? Would people be saying, 'Hey, they don't need Kam Chancellor'? And so it is all about the wins and losses in this league."
Chancellor is currently holding out for an improved contract, but is accumulating a significant fine in the process.
