Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin was a full participant during practice on Wednesday, as he bids to prove his fitness ahead of Super Bowl XLVIII.

It was reported earlier this week that the Seahawks are hoping Harvin will feature against the Denver Broncos on February 2, and his ability to train fully will provide them with a boost.

Harvin has played just twice for Seattle following hip surgery in August. In the team's playoff win over the New Orleans Saints, he caught three passes for 21 yards before being forced out of the game in the second quarter with concussion.

"He looked fine," offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell said after practice. "We'll just evaluate him and see what kind of progress he can make. But he's worked really hard.

"Percy has just had some real unfortunate things happen to him this season. All the coaches know that it's obvious that when he's on the field - the impact he can have on a game. So we want to give him every opportunity and I'm sure he wants it as well."

Harvin joined the Seahawks from the Minnesota Vikings prior to the start of the season.
