Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll has revealed that the team is excited about letting running back Marshawn Lynch loose this season.
Lynch was impressive last season as he helped his side maraud towards winning the Super Bowl, but returned late to pre-season this summer as he looked to rest after a strenuous campaign.
"He's ready to go. We're really excited about cutting him loose," said Carroll, according to USA Today.
"The shot we gave him in game three (of the pre-season, August 22 against Chicago), he looked exactly on point. He hasn't missed a snap or practice, hasn't missed anything."
The Seahawks get the new NFL season underway when they take on the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night.
