Fans of the Seattle Seahawks caused a mini-earthquake during their side's playoff victory over the New Orleans Saints on Saturday.
The Seahawks edged into the NFC championship game courtesy of a 23-15 victory over the Saints, during which Marshawn Lynch ran in for a touchdown that caused the fans to shake the ground beneath CenturyLink Field.
The Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN) recorded activity throughout the game and their results show a huge increase in seismic action during Lynch's touchdown run.
It is not the first time that Seahawks fans have created an earthquake with their fanatical support, most famously doing so during another Lynch touchdown against the Saints in the playoffs three years ago.
That incident is now known as the "beast quake" due to Lynch's 'Beast Mode' nickname, and PNSN revealed that Saturday's touchdown came close to matching that.
The Seahawks will face the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC championship game on January 19.
