The Seattle Seahawks have announced that center Jason Spitz has been released by the club.
The 30-year-old joined the NFC West team last month, but did not feature in a single game for the side.
Spitz started his career with the Green Bay Packers before his 2011 move to the Jacksonville Jaguars, who released him in August.
The Seahawks currently lead their division with a 4-1 record.
