Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate has insisted that he is "excited" for his and the club's future in the NFL.
Tate, who will be out of contract at the end of the 2013 season, said that he is relaxed about the situation but does want to stay at the Seahawks for a long time.
"I'm going to show up to work, work hard and not worry about any contract talk," Tate told The SiriusXM Blitz. "I'm just going to pray on it and hopefully it works out.
Hopefully I'm in Seattle for a long time. I really enjoy this place. I want to help this team out as much as I can right now. I'm excited for this city and its organisation.
"I think we have a chance to be really, really special, and special for a long time. If we can just stay healthy and not let it go to our heads."
Tate received for 688 yards at an average of 15.3 last season.
