Doug Baldwin scores two touchdowns as the Seattle Seahawks cruise to a 38-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

The Seattle Seahawks have wrapped up an emphatic 38-7 win over the Minnesota Vikings, handing the NFC West side a third straight win.

The Vikings made a bright start to the game, forcing a fumble from Thomas Rawls on the Seahawks' first possession, with Antone Exum forcing the ball loose with a tackle on the running back, before recovering it for the home side.

The NFC North side could not cash in on the turnover though, bringing Seattle back onto the field soon after, giving Rawls a chance to make amends for his fumble with a three-yard rushing touchdown.

Both sides had to punt as the defenses each made a couple of stops, but Russell Wilson got the scoreboard moving again late in the second quarter with a rushing touchdown from the quarterback.

The Seahawks got the ball back just a few plays later as Teddy Bridgewater threw an interception, allowing the NFC West side to add to their lead against before the break, with Wilson rifling the ball over the middle to Doug Baldwin.

Minnesota continued to struggle on offense at the start of the first half as Adrian Peterson and Matt Asiata were unable to pick up enough yards for a first down on the first drive of the third quarter.

The Seahawks continued to find their form though, adding a fourth touchdown of the game when Wilson completed a short pass to Fred Jackson, who powered across from five yards out.

Another Minnesota drive stalled, resulting in Baldwin scoring his second touchdown of the game, racing away for a 53-yard score after Wilson launched the ball over the top, having seen another pass to Willson chalked off on the previous play for an offensive hold.

The Vikings finally got on the board at the end of the third quarter, with Cordarrelle Patterson returning Steven Hauschka's kickoff all the way to the endzone.

The only points in the fourth quarter went to the Seahawks though, with Hauschka adding a simple 23-yard field goal after Wilson failed to complete a short pass to Baldwin for the wide receiver's third score of the day.

The win keeps the Seahawks second in the NFC West with a 7-5 record, while the Vikings slip out of the lead in the NFC North.
