Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate believes that the Super Bowl will be decided in all three phases of the game and not just between the Denver Broncos' offense and his side's defense.

The Seahawks had the best statistical defense in the NFL during the 2013 season, but they will be tested on Sunday at MetLife Stadium as they go against the best offense in the history of the league.

Tate told reporters: "At the end of the day, in order to win they're going to need offense, defense and special teams.

"Like I said earlier, it's no secret that the number one offense is going against the number one defense. That's going to draw attention naturally.

"I'm excited to watch it myself. I can only worry about what I can control. I can control how I practice this week. I can control how I play on Sunday and I'm just going to leave it all on the field."

Tate had 64 catches for 898 yards along with five touchdowns in the 2013 regular season.
