The Seahawks mascot celebrates the win, as we await the presentation of the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
And here is Wilson, holding the Super Bowl Trophy aloft. When interviewed, he made it clear that this was a true team effort, and that he was proud of his teammates tonight.
Outside linebacker Malcolm Smith is named Super Bowl XLVIII MVP. The seventh-round Draft pick had nine tackles and one interception returned for a touchdown to help his side to victory tonight. A quick look on Twitter suggests that Smith was anywhere between 100 and 250-1 to win the award pre-game tonight.
Carroll gets his hands on the trophy now. A complete revamp of this Seattle team under the head coach has seen them go from also-rans to champions in just four years.
And so, the Seahawks players, coaches and management are surrounded by their families and the media as they celebrate their victory in New York. Celebrations will surely continue long into the night on both coasts of the country.
