Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano has admitted that he is pleased with the way rookie quarterback Mike Glennon has played since becoming his side's starter.
Glennon replaced Josh Freeman, who was later released by the Buccaneers after week three of the season, and has guided his side to a 2-5 record, throwing 11 touchdowns to four interceptions.
"I have a ton of belief in Mike Glennon. You can get to be that way, but Mike hasn't," Schiano added when asked whether if Glennon is too cautious. "I don't think that's an issue with Mike.
"Mike will rip it in there with tight coverage. But what he's not done is rip it in there with tight coverage and a man behind, and that's where you get the tipped passes and interceptions and that kind of thing."
The Buccaneers face the Detroit Lions in their week 12 clash.
