The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced the signing of defensive end Larry English.
English will be expected to fit in as an end in Lovie Smith's 4-3 scheme, but will have to fight off competition from starters Adrian Clayborn and Michael Johnson if he wants to land a first-team place.
The former San Diego Chargers player was introduced into the NFL as the 16th overall Draft pick in 2009.
However, the Chargers cut English from their roster earlier this summer following five seasons plagued by injury.
