The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have eased to a home win over the Buffalo Bills to earn their fourth victory of the NFL season.
The Buccaneers had the perfect start to the game as on the first play Bobby Rainey got the handoff from quarterback Mike Glennon, found a hole in the defense and ran all the way to the endzone on an 80-yard run for the touchdown.
Buffalo hit back with a field goal through the boot of Dan Carpenter from 40 yards out after a drive from EJ Manuel was killed by the Bucs defense just before they reached the redzone.
Tampa Bay's offense took advantage of their defensive stand as they put another touchdown on the board. Glennon escaped a collapsing pocket and threw downfield on the run to Vincent Jackson in the endzone who peeled off his man for a 38-yard touchdown.
The Buccaneers had the chance to add to their score just before the break but Glennon was intercepted by Stephon Gilmore in the endzone. However, he made up for it minutes later when he found Tim Wright for a five-yard touchdown with 16 seconds left.
The second half was a low-key affair as both offenses struggled to get into the endzone as Manuel's drive to try and get the Bills back in the game was killed and Dan Carpenter was forced into a field goal.
However, the Buccaneers ended any hope of a comeback with a lengthy drive and Rian Lindell made no mistake in firing the ball through the posts for his second kick of the day, this time from 32 yards out.
