Joshua Morgan has said that he would like to re-sign with the Washington Redskins for the 2014 NFL season.
The wide receiver, who has spent the last two seasons with the NFC East side, is due to become a free agent next month.
The 28-year-old told the team's official website: "Of course. This is my hometown. This is my community. My family is here. My friends are here. This is my team I grew up rooting for.
"At the end of the day, it's just hope. It's business. The same thing happened with the team last year. If you're not winning, changes are going to be made.
"I'm just hoping and praying that if I'm here, or wherever I am next year, that I'm still playing football and getting an opportunity to show my talents before I get too old."
Morgan saw his production drop in 2013, making 20 receptions for 214 yards.
