Washington Redskins linebacker Perry Riley has been fined $15,750 (£9,800) by the NFL for a late hit on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.
The incident occurred in the first quarter of Riley's side's defeat to the Cowboys in their NFC East clash on Sunday.
Mike Shanahan's team were penalised with a 15-yard penalty during the game and now the league have deemed the hit worthy enough of a hefty fine.
The Redskins are 1-4 in their season going into week seven.
