China's Gao Mingjie has won gold in the men's F44 javelin final with a new Paralympic record.
Gao recorded the two furthest throws of the night, with his longest being confirmed at 58.53.
Silver went to Tony Falelavaki of France, who also went over 58 metres but dropped just over 30cm short at 58.21.
Ronald Hertog took bronze for Hungary but his throw was some distance back, although his 55.83 was a personal best.
