The Mayor of London has reserved 506 tickets for the Olympic Games in the capital next year, it was confirmed earlier today.
Boris Johnson has held back 55 tickets for the opening ceremony, as well as 133 for the athletics.
Other tickets that Johnson has selected include 35 for diving, 55 for the closing ceremony, 55 for artistic gymnastics, 83 for swimming, 55 for judo and 35 for beach volleyball.
Those tickets come at a cost of almost £300,000.
However, Johnson has confirmed that it will not be funded by the taxpayer.
