Marilyn Okoro has insisted that she will not give up on her athletics career.
The 28-year-old was not named in the Great Britain Olympic squad for the 800m despite running the required 'A' standard.
While admitting that she is disappointed to have missed out, Okoro is adamant that she will continue to give her all for the sport.
"You go through so much and sometimes you wonder if it's all worth it," she said.
"It's not the easiest sport to be in, my federation does a lot of stuff I just don't want to be mixed up in.
"But I love the sport and it's just going to make me fight even harder. It's given me a bigger sting in my tail."
Okoro has been named as part of the 4x400m team.
