Great Britain's Conrad Williams missed out on qualification for the final of the men's 400m inside the Olympic Stadium tonight.
The 30-year-old was in contention for a place within the top two coming into the home straight.
However, he appeared to be lacking in endurance during the closing stages and ended up in last spot.
A personal best time of 44.58 seconds from Lalonde Gordon of Trinidad and Tobago saw him win the race, while Demetrius Pinder claimed the runner-up slot.
