Great Britain's Shana Cox managed to claim the final slot in the semi-finals of women's 400m from heat two at the London Olympics this afternoon.
The American-born athlete battled for the line with Aliann Pompey, a fight which she eventually won with a time of 52.01s.
The race was won by Botswana's Amantle Montsho, who finished in a time of 50.40s.
Jamaica's Christine Day took second spot ahead of Cox.
