Team GB's Jessica Ennis has extended her lead in the heptathlon after an impressive display in the long jump at the Olympics.
Ennis produced a jump of 6.48m in the morning to the delight of the British crowd and she now has a score of 5,159 points after five events.
Lithuania's Austra Skujte is in second place with 4,869 points and is closely followed by Tatyana Chernova of Russia, who is a further 32 points behind.
Britain's Katarina Johnson-Thompson is sitting in 12th place with 4,677 points after a solid performance in the long jump.
Next up for the heptathletes is the javelin later this afternoon.
