South African sprinter Oscar Pistorius has said that ParalympicsGB's T44 100m gold medal winner Jonnie Peacock has a "great future" in sprinting.
Pistorius was part of the field that Peacock blew away this evening and admitted that he was beaten by a faster man.
"[I was] most definitely [beaten by a better sprinter today]," Pistorius said.
"What we've seen today is the start of a great sprinter. I was hoping to finish in the medals tonight but it's just not my event.
"I think he drew so much from the crowd here. I can't believe how happy he must be, well done to him. He's still young; he's got a great future ahead of him."
Peacock and his GB teammates surpassed the 103-medal target today.
